Miikka was born after the hippie era, at the
beginning of the 80s, in Haaga, Helsinki, where
he spent his first years. After this, the whole
family moved to the rainforest area of Vantaa
where he grew up. The last couple of years he
lived in Holland and Canada. The first school
years it seemed that he was quite a monkey
and the teachers weren’t his good friends
during that time. With the years passing, he has
been growing up and becoming wiser like a
good wine. The ‘aging’ still continues. His high
school he spent in the notorious school of
Korso, where he began to learn the way of life.
After the high school Miikka did some odd jobs
to earn some bucks for travelling, and the
destination was wherever. He earned enough
green for his first Interrail trip when he was in the
pimples age. Then, he was travelling from North
America to the sweetness of Asia. In 2003, it
was time for new challenges and he started the
School of Journalism in Laajasalo, Helsinki.

After finishing the school, he started collecting
money again for travelling. It was a big success,
and next on the schedule came another trip to
Asia.

Afterwards, Miikka started thinking that it would
be quite nice to get the profession and about
four years ago he left to Holland to study in a
school there. He started his education of
production in the media industry. Last year, he
worked for a Production Company in
Vancouver, which was a kickass set. Miikka’s
hobbies are from curling to travelling, so
basically all kind of things. Lately, he has also
been intensively training for Yatzi. Working on
videos has been a subject of interest already for
years. He has done some short films and AV
projects in the last few years.

Miikka has a wide variety of favourite movies
and music. Some movies that should be
mentioned are Scorsese’s and Polanski’s
outputs. M.I.A, Peaches, CCS, Chromeo,
Imatran voima, The Smiths, Curtis Mayfield and
Hives are playing now in his MP3 player. When
it comes to food, everything goes, from mouse's
testicles to cones, if there is no other option.

Perhaps Miikka’s personality includes a positive attitude towards life, finding and thinking of new
phenomena, and relaxing. He bets he has bad characteristics as well, but these can be sniffed
out from someone else.
